TERROIR

The vines of the Château de Marmorières are located in the south of France, 7km from the Mediterranean Sea, nestled in the middle of scrubland and woods between 50m and 133m in altitude in the classified massif of La Clape. The soils are clay-limestone and the vines selected for the production of this rosé are exposed East to South-East.

VINIFICATION

The selected grapes are pressed directly at very low pressure (below 0.3 bar), only the first, most qualitative juices are selected, then decanted and fermented around 16°C. Aging on lees in barrels is then carried out with stirring of the fine lees three times a week for two months. The final blend is done barrel by barrel after 5 months of aging.

Pale and crystalline in color with rose petal reflections

AROMA

Beautiful notes of small red fruits, light smoke and citrus on the nose

BODY

The attack is filled with lovely aromas of grapefruit, lemon and lychee accompanied by careful and delicate aging giving the wine a beautiful persistence supported by a splendid minerality and salinity accentuated by the proximity of the vines from the Mediterranean Sea.
